I am originally from Westport, Connecticut.  I grew up there and moved to Boca Raton in 1975 to attend Florida Atlantic University.  I graduated from FAU in 1977 with a degree in social psychology.  I currently own a horse ranch in Delray Beach where I reside with my husband, two daughters and seven pets.   Our pets are a very important part of our family.  I enjoy the special  relationship we have and the companionship they provide. My daughters are animal lovers too and both are certified professional dog groomers. 

When we would arrange our plans to travel I was always worried about what to do with our animals.  If I needed to board them I knew they would feel lonesome and stressed.  I learned from experience when I took my pets out of their own surroundings it was very uncomfortable for them.  They would always need time to recover from their time away from home.  I started A Best Friend Pet Sitting because I knew many pet owners felt the same way.

I have many years of experience with animal care and nurturing. I have helped stray and feral outdoor cats by participating in Trap-Neuter-Return programs ,  provided for many animals and rescued a few along the way.  I enjoy meeting new animals and seeing how happy they get during my visits knowing they are getting the attention they need.  I promise to love and care for your best friends as if they were my own.  My job is to provide exceptional care for your pets in your absence and make them feel as if you never left.  I'm happy to help pet owners enjoy their time away and hope the quality care I offer will be a positive experience for both you and your animals.
